This week on #FlashbackFriday, where we unearth some of We Are Regal Radio/WARR Media's best segments and features from our vault prior to WARR on Anchor, we take it back to the Illinois Media School and our legendary Saturday D & Davis Show sessions on State Street. In studio for this one was the great stand-up comedian, satirist and groundbreaking "Blipster," Felonious Munk.
Munk was celebrating quite a bit at the time -- making steady appearances on Larry Wilmore's "Nightly Show" on Comedy Central, putting on highly-regarded shows throughout Chicago with collaborators like Dave Helem and he was weeks away from welcoming a son into the world. Not much has stopped since for Munk, who now is breaking through as an actor, getting praise for his role on the ABC show "For Life," which recently returned for a second season.
